JILLIAN TAYLOR – Head Coach
Jillian is returning to the Sharks after a summer in Idaho with her family. She is
graduating in May from the University of Northern Colorado, where she is majoring in
Sports and Exercise Science. This spring she student taught Physical Education with a
team of teachers at Thunderridge Middle School, and is currently student teaching at
Peakview Elementary. She is hoping for a position in the area as a Middle School or
Elementary School P.E. teacher after graduation. Jillian graduated from Eaglecrest High
School, where she swam all four years and was the captain of the team her senior year.
Jillian swam with the Sharks for six years and started her coaching career as one of our
swimmer coaches, and was an Assistant Coach for 2 years. We are excited to have her
back with us this year as our Head Coach and she is thrilled with the opportunity to be
coaching the Sharks again!
ANDREW SPRATT – Assistant Coach
This is Andrew’s second summer as an assistance coach for the Sharks. Andrew has swum
with Mission Aurora Colorado Swimming (MACS) for the past eight years and is currently
on the Sectional Team. He has qualified for Sectionals in the 500, 1000, and 1650
freestyle. He was also captain and swam four years at Eaglecrest High School. Andrew now
swims for the University of St. Thomas in St Paul, MN. This past year he has broken two
school records in the 1000 and 1650 freestyle, placing 3rd in the MIAC Swimming
Conference.
Andrew hopes again to instill his love of swimming in the kids he coaches this summer.
Andrew enjoyed the teamwork, sportsmanship and dedication he experienced while
coaching last year and hopes to build on that this year. He looks forward to another great
summer!
We welcome back our three swimmer coaches from last year: Jordan
Allen, Lyndsay Williams and Mitch Woomer.
